Blairwood Summer Camps focus on tennis instruction with the addition of fun sports and games.
We will work on fundamental stroke techniques including forehand, backhand, volley, serve, return of serve, and overhead smash. At the beginning of each day, a new stroke is taught and then practiced throughout the day. By the end of the week, all six strokes have been covered. Campers are grouped by tennis skill level and in age-specific groups.
All of out staff are caring, enthusiastic, and love to teach children. The camp staff includes college age coaches who have been selected for personality, coaching ability, athletic ability, and experience working with children.
WHAT TO BRING: tennis shoes (no black soles), tennis racquet, towel, own water, snacks/lunch, sunscreen .
Mon-Fri, Half Day (9:00am-12:pm or 1:00pm-4:00pm) forages 5-18
Grand Slam Tennis Camps focus on fundamental stroke techniques, reviewing and practicing a new stroke every day. By the end of the week, all strokes have been covered. Every day ends in an exciting match play environment. Players are grouped by skill level and in age-specific groups.
HIGH SCHOOL PREP CAMP

The High School Prep Camps focus on skill refinement, practice, and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players. From the 8th grader looking to play high school tennis to the seasoned high school player, each player is taught through personal attention and repetition in an enjoyable, challenging tennis camp atmosphere with players at his/her level.
