On-site, professional childcare facilities to provide a safe, fun, and convenient place for your child to play while you enjoy the clubs.

Kids Corner Childcare services are AVAILABLE FOR MEMBERS; GUESTS MAY USE THE FACILITIES, BUT MUST SIGN A LIABILITY WAIVER AT THE FRONT DESK PRIOR TO USE.

GENERAL POLICIES:​

• ILLNESS – Do not bring your child/children to Kids Corner if they are sick or showing symptoms of fever and/or contagious illness. Also, please be prepared to observe and comply with the following policies:

• • Please make sure to wash your child’s hands before entering.

  • The temperature of each child will be checked when checking in. Staff will not allow parents to leave children with a temperature greater than 100.4 degrees.

  • Do not bring your child to Kids Corner if they have a cough, cold, diarrhea, or other symptoms of a possible illness or they will be asked to leave. There will be no exceptions.  This is for the safety of the other children and our staff.

• FOOD – Kids Corner is a nut-free facility AND no food items or snacks are allowed to be brought into Kids Corner.

• OUTSIDE TOYS OR ITEMS – Staff asks that child/children refrain from bringing in outside toys or devices.

• DIAPERS AND OTHER SANITARY SUPPLIES – The parent or legal guardian must provide diapers or other sanitary items (such as wipes) for child/children. Kids Corner will not provide any of these supplies. Kids Corner staff will aid in checking and changing diapers as needed.

• KIDS CORNER FACILITY MAINTENANCE & CLEANING – The Kids Corner facilities at both Blairwood and LTC are cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. Cloth toys have been removed and only toys that can be sanitized are available.

• CELL PHONES – The use of cell phones is strictly prohibited in any manner inside Kids Corner.

• SIGN-IN AND SIGN-OUT –

  • Staff will sign children in to reduce contact with the sign in sheet.

  • Parent or legal guardian must leave a cell phone number and the location they will be in the Club in case of emergency.

  • Child Children may not be left at Kid’s Corner if their parent or legal guardian leaves the Club.

  • Staff will not allow anyone other than the parent or legal guardian to sign out a child/children without a prior written arrangement which must be submitted to the Front Desk for record keeping.

  • Staff may require photo identification from anyone signing a child out of Kids Corner

• PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN ETIQUETTE – Parents are expected to comply with all Club Guidelines in addition to the requirements stated below.

  • 10 MINUTE RULE – For safety reasons, parents or legal guardians may stay with their child a maximum of 10 minutes after check-in and only if the child/children are crying excessively or showing signs of severe anxiety. After this, if crying or anxiety continues, Club policy requires the parent or legal guardian to remove the child from Kids Corner until the child/children settle down.

  • COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION – If a parent or legal guardian ever feels that Kids Corner staff is not performing his/her duties, the parent or legal guardian must refrain from engaging with Kids Corner staff and instead must file a formal complaint to management at the Front Desk of the Club.

• UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR – Unacceptable behaviors listed below are to be judged at the discretion of Kids Corner staff ONLY.

  • Unacceptable Behavior includes, but are not limited to: hitting, spitting, biting, and roughhousing.

  • This behavior WILL NOT be tolerated and the parent or legal guardian will be asked to remove the child/children for the day. If bad behavior persists, the child/children will not be allowed to return to Kids Corner.

CAPACITY:

• Reservations are not required. The Kids Corner is limited to 25 children.

• While eclipsing this 25 maximum capacity is rare, it does occur on occasion.

• Kids Corner will be open on a first come first serve basis as children leave for the day.

FEES & PAYMENT:

Kids Corner is FREE for Full Members up to 2 hours/day. Swim & Fitness Members and Tennis Members must pay the following rates at the time of service:

• Hourly - $6/one child or $8/two children per hour; hourly fees must be paid at the front desk at the time of service. An additional $2 will be assessed per hour for each additional child. A parent or legal guardian must be present at the time of check in.

• Monthly Option for Tennis Members - The Clubs allow Tennis Members to pay monthly: $25/one child or $35/two children per month (and $10 per each additional child) for childcare up to 2 hours per day. This additional charge must be paid on a monthly basis with membership dues. This option is not available for Fitness/Swim Members. Please contact the Club for details. Again, this ONLY applies to Tennis Members.

FINAL REMINDERS:

• We request that each child's possessions be marked with the child's name and that each diaper bag be properly supplied with diapers and wipes.
